Conservative restoration of the sculpture on the rooftop terrace of Palazzo Giustinian Faccanon

⁠⁠Our restorers are intervening with the cleaning and restoration of the soft stone statues of the balustrade and the tympanum overlooking the Rio della Fava. These works exhibited heavy degradation phenomena: deposits, black crusts, a biological attack with algae, lichens, fungi and widespread erosion that alters the shapes and sections most exposed to atmospheric agents.⁠
